~A Single Stem Rose~

Happy Valentine’s Day! To tell the truth, after 42 years of marriage, we don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day. But, it’s like every day is Valentine’s day when you have an awesome husband like I do!
Today’s offering is an “anything” card. No sentiment means you can use it for whatever you need. This single rose stamp/die is a favorite. My mom’s middle name was Rose and she was a true lover of the flower. We lost her 32 years ago to breast cancer. Now whenever I see a rose, I think of her and her charismatic personality.
I thought a simple sketch would give the rose more drama. What do you think?
