Any day in the studio is a good day. Today happens to be a great day! Here we are at the end of January and we have warm temps to boot!

I wanted to do at least one Valentine for the season, as I have several left from years past. I need to start making more for grandchildren. Time is not my friend right now, though.

On a personal note, my back is healing nicely. I am still using a cane to get around, but working on walking without it (short distances).

I wanted to do something different, so I found this tutorial on Splitcoaststampers.com for the corner bookmark. It really is quite simple.

Corner Bookmark Card on Tutorial at Splitcoaststampers

The bookmark is completely removable and works nicely in my bible shown here:

I used:

Stamp Simply Clear Stamps – Love
Stamp Simply Clear Stamps – Typewritten Year Round Greetings
Stamp Simply Steel Dies – Farmhouse Pierced Nested Hearts
Spellbinders Nestabilities – classic circles
Sizzix Framelits – Tag Collection
Tim Holtz – Layering Stencil – Flourish

Echo Park – 6 x 6 Love Notes
Craft Consortium – Beach Hut

Memento Rhubarb Stalk
