~American Pride~

We’re celebrating Labor day as I type this. My all time favorite cards to make are patriotic cards. This week I went to the scrap pile again.

Here’s what I came up with:

Let’s talk about the scraps. It’s my mission to use up as much as I can before cutting into a new piece of cardstock.

The flag is red cherry scraps, cut at 1/2″ and the vanilla is cut the same. I just glued them down and trimmed the edges that hang over. Putting the blue field of stars piece was a little more tricky, but I just glued that down and cut off excess. It works!

I used these few supplies:

Stamp Simply Clear Stamps – Patriotic Sentiments

Stamp Simply Clear Stamps – American Eagle
Stamp Simply Steel Dies – American Eagle
American Eagle Bundle
Baker’s Twine – blue/white
Versafine – Onyx Black

*****
copic markers
scraps!
White gel pen
assorted adhesives
