For years, I’ve told my hubby that I won’t buy him a Father’s Day gift/card as he’s not MY father.  I’ve encouraged the boy to celebrate with him, though!

My youngest did commission a card, though.  My hubby is a Navy Veteran and is very proud of the time he served.  So I chose the Seafarer from Authentique.  Completely LOVE this pad of paper.

Yes, it does feel like an Americana card.

The young family brought the wee ones over yesterday to use the pool at our complex.  They were here a whopping 20 minutes when they found out their car had been towed.  They were parked in front of OUR garage (plenty of room), and ended up in a run around with the tow company.  Took them a couple hours to get the car back.  In the meantime, I had 2 hungry little girls on my hand.  While a yogurt satisfied Princess Cupcake, Princess Sweet Pea cried until she nearly fell asleep.  No bottle or binkie in her bag.  Her daddy and big sister did a good job of calming her.
