Toy's Haven

It’s cold.  I mean below zero with wind.  Frigid.  So, you would think I would get a lot done in the studio, but nope.  It’s just a few days before Christmas and I have so many gifts to wrap and cookies to bake and projects to finish up.  Sleep is not going to be an option, but COFFEE is!

I’ve always been a coffee drinker.  I get it from my Granny, who drank coffee around the clock.  She doesn’t drink it any longer as she is quite frail and her caretakers are afraid she’ll burn herself.

So today, let’s have some coffee and girl talk!

Ok, first, the coffee cups are exactly the same color as the polka dot strip, but no matter what I did with my camera, it just flatly refused to photograph that way.  Second, I am in love with this card.  The color combo is so rich and the copper layer makes me swoon.  I added a little watermark using Rich Cocoa ink.  And don’t get me started on the wired sheer ribbon.  I finally feel like I can make consistently gorgeous bows.
