~ Shadow Boxing ~

SSRS Shadow Box flat

Have you ever had this grand idea in your head and when you started creating it just morphed into something else right before your eyes?  I almost have an out of body experience when this happens.  And if what I made turns out better than I imagined, well I just go ahead and thank God.

I started out making a circle side step card.  I watched a couple tutorials on YouTube… neither of which would work for me.  I was a bit frustrated at this point.  I was staring off into lala land trying to recoup when the throw away portion of my circle caught my eye.  That’s a win win.  Not only did I get a nice project done, but I also love it!

SSRS Shadow Box 4

You need 1 pieces of card stock measuring 8 1/2″ x  8 1/2″ and 8 3/8″ x 8 3/8″ .   Cut a  5 1/4″ circle into the middle of the 8 1/2″ square piece.  Score all for sides on both pieces at 1″.

Decorate both inside and outside before you adhere the pieces together.

Beautiful, Holly. I think I would have a hard time giving that card away. Thanks for sharing.
