~Stamp Simply Wedding~
September 14th, 2015 by Holly McMillen
Is anyone tired of hearing me talk wedding? I’m sorry if you are. I can’t help myself. I’ve waited a long time to welcome
a daughter into the mix. She will have to be strong. She will have to be clever. She will have to be made of iron. Well,
this weekend I attended my future daughter’s (there will be NO “in-law” used) bridal shower. I have not had the chance to
spend much time with her in HER environment, so this was good. Her mother and I agree that these two are a perfect
match. DeeAnna is everything that my son needs. And, she makes him happy.
I took the opportunity yesterday to make their wedding card. This is the very first 5×7 card I’ve ever made and I
love the size. More room for pretties! DeeAnna’s favorite colors are teal and gray. I had absolutely NO gray cardstock,
but this flocked paper from Kaisercraft’s Something Blue pad has gray in the background. Perfect!
I used Stamp Simply Clear Stamps’ Wedding Wishes set. The “Love is” scripture is so perfect for a wedding card.
I paired it with Kaisercraft’s Something Blue, 1 1/4″ Silk ribbon (teal), Black Kaisercraft 1/2 pearls, Spellbinders Label 8 die cut to frame
the sentiment, cross die cut, Prima Flowers’ Lady Bird striped teal flower, Prima leaves, Versafine Onyx Black ink.
Thanks for stopping by!
