Greetings!

Goodness!  I have spent the last seven hours at my desk.  I sought out the Technique Lovers Challenge this morning to help me get in gear.  Well, of course the project was treat bags.  Uhhhhh, yes please!  Love me some lil totes!

You can find the challenge and the instructions for making the totes HERE.   I love the tote in the example, but each year I make a couple dozen goodie bags for the neighbor kids (we only have 11 houses in our cul-de-sac).  So, I took the template and cut it down by 1/2.   I ended up with these adorable little 2 1/4 x 2″ totes.  They’re perfect for a few pieces of candy.

Here is a group shot of my minis:

I had so much fun decorating these.  I find the tiny canvas on these little items challenging, yet rewarding!

Here they are individually:

I was super lucky that I had these amazing My Mind’s Eye halloween themed papers tucked away for a rainy day.  They are double sided so that the inside of each bag has a pretty pattern, too!

I used There She Goes Clear Stamps’ Hauntingly Delightful and Bugs & Hisses sets

I still have a backlog of things to share, but I am in the middle of buttoning down the house for winter, which could hit any day here!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Hugs!

What a great idea to make these smaller treat purses even smaller!!!!! And the way you decorated them is adorable – I especially love the windows – what a great idea! Also, I understand you cut the template down by half, but would you mind sharing the measurements, too, please? Thank you in advance!

Super cute, Holly! Love the tiny size you made! The goo and web borders are fun and the wiggle eyes are perfect! You’ve always made such amazing cards and projects–thanks for the inspiration!
