Greeting, Friends!

Just recently, Joan Ervin and I decided to add a 3rd hostess to our weekly Technique Lover’s Challenge over on the Splitcoaststampers website.   We are so thrilled that Judy Rozema agreed to join us!   She stepped in and covered for me on my last turn as I was under the weather.  Joan and Judy are the best!!

So this is my week again and boy do I have a challenge to throw down!   A few days ago, I came across a card on Pintrest and traced it back to Sonia Sellers @ Sonia’s Crafty Patch.   You’re going to LOVE this!  It’s called a cascading card.  You can view it HERE.

Here’s my rendition of Sonia’s amazing fancy fold:

As you can see, I had a BLAST filling up the little nooks and crannies on this fun card.

I must admit that I was slightly intimidated by the mechanics of this card at first.   But after I followed the directions shown on Sonia’s blog, it came together quite easily… then the fun began!

And the best part?   It folds flat!  Ok, so not exactly FLAT, LOL, but at least flat enough to fit into a regular sized invitation envelope!

Accessories:  1/2″ satin sage with chocolate polka dot ribbon, 1/2 pearls, label nesties, Fiskars bird punch, MS border punch, Sizzix branch die, pink, light green and brown 1/2 pearls, sticky tape, dimensionals
