Happy Saturday, Friends!

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store crew is putting our focus on Holiday Decor.

If you’ve arrived here from Deb Saaranen‘s blog, then you’re in the right spot.  If not, I suggest you start back on Sharon Johnson’s blog so you can find out how to get into the drawing for the scrumptious candy shown at the top of this post.

I went deep into my “I’m going to use this someday” stash and pulled out this dual frame.   Frames are not just for pictures, you know 🙂

This was actually a tough one for me.   I wanted to put so much in this frame, but had to dial down my ideas so that it didn’t look too cluttered.   I am really very pleased with how it turned out.

Here’s a closer look at the left side:

I did quite a bit of white embossing.  I think it’s classy looking and really pops with these colors.

And a look at the right side:

I wanted ornaments on the trees, so I used a large 1/8″ hole punch to create ornaments and covered them with stickles.  There are also stickles on the snowflakes.

Here are my details:

Stamps: JustRite’ Stamps O Christmas Tree, JustRite Stamps Winter Words, JustRite Stamps’ Fleur De Lis Label Twenty set, JustRite Stamps’ Lace Borders, JustRite Stamps’ Merry and Bright (no longer carried, but similar sets can be found HERE.)

Papers: GP White, Garden Green, Riding Hood Red, Lilly Bee Design Jingle dp

Ink: Versamark, Garden Green, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red

Accessories: 2″ Silky Crushed Wired ribbon (red), 1/2″ wrinkled ribbon (Olive), white embossing powder, circle punches, BowEasy, snowflake punch, Spellbinders Label Twenty diesSugar Blooms Collection – roses (green), stickles, low heat glue gun, bells.
