~ Hallmark Knockoff ~

Hi Friends 🙂

Have you noticed that the big name card companies have started to imitate us?   I’ve seen bows on Hallmark cards.   I’ve seen sparkle and rhinestones.   I’ve even seen matting!

Today I’m knocking off one of Hallmark’s cards.   I received this thank you card from my nephew and his new wife a few days back and I really loved the colors and simplicity.  It even had silver embossing!

Here’s my knockoff:

and here is a side by side comparison of the two cards:

Of course I added dimension and a ribbon.  I also added a red layer to make the red center of the flowers make more sense to me.

Here are my details:

Stamps: There She Goes’ Flowers of Happiness, There She Goes’  Sentimental Thank You

Paper: Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler, GP White, DCWV metallic mat pack (silver)

Ink: Versamark

Accessories: 3/8″ gingham ribbon, white 1/2 pearls colored with copic to match cherry cobbler, silver embossing powder, dimensionals, sticky tape

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs!
