Hi friends 🙂

It’s been an interesting weekend.   I ended up in the ER on Saturday afternoon after several days of fighting with severe chest congestion.   The diagnosis is bronchitis.   I have had a couple bouts with bronchitis over the last 20 years and I’ll tell you it’s no fun.   My chest feels like someone is standing on it and every muscle in my body is screaming.   Some antibiotics and an inhaler are on hand now, so we’ll see how this goes.   I’m still feeling major cruddy, but I’m keeping in motion.

This week’s Technique Lovers Challenge is a project brought to us by Kim Score.   It’s called a Sliding Pop-Up card.  Kim’s creativity has always been on my radar.   I don’t think there’s a thing the girl can’t make out of punches!  You can find the tutorial for the Sliding Pop Up Card HERE.

I am in need of several valentines for the men in my life, so I took this opportunity to step up to that challenge.  Here’s what I came up with:

See that acorn sitting on the patterned paper?  I was in the middle of coloring the lower hearts and dropped my red copic right on the card!   I had to slap that acorn on there to cover my booboo.
