Good morning, friends!

Can you believe it’s Friday, already?!   This has been a very busy week and the time has flown by.   All of it in spite of the extreme heat.   I was watching the news at 5am this morning and they were saying that the heatwave is covering nearly the entire continental US.   I guess that makes me feel better … NOT! LOL   I’m meeeeeeeeeeeeelting!

Yesterday was an awesome day.   My friend, Theresa W, from Denver came up to visit and stamp.   I cannot remember the last time I had company that wasn’t a family member!

I am not sure why, but my eyes popped open before 5am this morning.   I wanted to go back to sleep, but decided to stamp for the Free 4 All challenge instead.   Silvia challenged us to think “cool” and do a snowflakes and pearls card.   I have to admit that with the heat this bad, I have a tough time even thinking of snowflakes!   But, I persevered.

I was mentioning the other day about those large flourishy pearl things you can buy.   They’re quite expensive and generally they’re huge.   I figured out you can make them yourself.   For mine, I stamped a flourish in versamark on the white card base, then placed pearls along the lines.
