~ Holiday Treats ~

Good morning, friends!

I have been brainstorming ideas for Christmas gifts this year.   With my hubby laid off, it is going to require some really creative thinking on my part.   One thing I have plenty of is paper!   I will be making Christmas cookies, too (as that is what dh wants for his birthday), so I figured an extra batch or two can become stuffing in these boxes that I love to make.

Today’s Technique Lover’s Challenge was to make this cute little Shipping Tag Box/Bag that was created by Debbie Fisher (debbiedee).   I took a little liberty with the design and used a Nesties’ label 8 die in place of the tag.

There is a bunch going on here.   I put glossy glaze on his teeth, hat, and lights.   I put frosted lace stickles on the snowflake.   I couldn’t even wait for it to dry before I took a picture (ms impatient, here!)… so the glossy glaze is still a bit milky.

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  Artful Inkables‘ Holiday Treats and Tails

Colors: GP White, Garden Green, dps

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, copics

Accessories: Ribbon, Nesties, oval punches, piercing tool, MS branch punch, MS snowflake punch, green cord, hole punch, glossy glaze, stickles, dimensionals, sticky tape, scoring blade

So what kind of things are you making as gifts this year?   Leave me a link if you have pictures!!  Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have a blessed day!

So cute, Holly! It looks like you ran the dp through the cripmer. I didn’t see it in your recipe, so I guess it’s the great dp! I love this set…it’s probably one of my favs! Love how you used the light bulb stamp on the sentiment!
