~ Jack O’ Votive ~
October 5th, 2009 by Holly McMillen
Good day, friends!
Somehow it is Monday again! How does that happen? 🙂 I hit the ground running this morning. I tried to get this project finished yesterday, but I could not find the stash of tealights that I KNOW are in my craftroom somewhere! So I hit Hobby Lobby as soon as they opened. Now, you know those tealights are going to show up. That’s just how things roll.
The little Jack O’ Votives are made from a piece of orange vellum with a jack o lantern face cut with an xacto knife. I wrapped the tealight in a piece of heavy frosted vellum colored yellow (to give a glow effect). It is hard to photograph and show the glow, but it really is cute!
Here are my deets:
Stamps: Artful Inkables‘ Halloween Hauntings
Colors: Basic Black, Green Galore , Orange vellum
Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, copics
Accessories: ribbon, drippy goo punch, xacto knife, scoring blade, sticky tape, battery operated tealight
