Good Morning, Ya’ll

Let’s talk men.    Why is it that it is so difficult to create a papercraft project that works for guys?   Is it just me??   I don’t know about you, but my DH is very supportive and actually likes the things I create.   His routine is to stop in my studio before he hits the bedroom every evening to see what I’ve created.   I am very appreciative of that, and like making things for HIM….. I just have this mental block when it comes to what would please him (papercraft wise! LOL).

So, I took on that challenge today.   My DH has been working his butt off on his job and has had to be away from the family four days a week.   I think he deserves a little something something!   What could be better than a Home Depot gift card?!   Man stuff!

I purchased these little gable boxes from Taylored Espressions not too long ago.   They are the perfect size for a gift card.   I dressed it up with my manliest paper and embellies.   The images are from Artful Inkables‘ Fun and Friendly set.

I used a little glossy glaze on the water portion of the image.
