~ A Little Peek ~

Good morning, girls 🙂

I have to admit… I thought Lynn had gone a little *mad* when I saw this morning’s TLC.   Stamping on metal???   A pop can??   What??  Ok, so I went along with it.    Now after I am done, I have to say, it was definitely a challenge, but thought provoking and fun, too!

It was not without experimentation, though.   I found that stamping on a pop can is not as easy as 1-2-3.   First, you have to give your image plenty of time to set (dry).   Copics don’t work all that well.    Shimmerz just run.   BUT, it goes through the Wizard nicely and even embosses nicely.

So, here is what I did:

I used my label 4 nesties to cut out a shape from the pop can.     I stamped the genie bottle onto the pop can and let it set awhile, before coloring it with markers.   I am not totally pleased with that part, but heck, that’s why they call it a challenge, right? 🙂

These images are part of a new set coming April 15th from Artful Inkables, called Three Wishes.   You will get to see more of this set over the next couple days.   I know Kristin is going to be posting some sneak peeks of the FOUR new sets coming, on her blog.

Here are my deets:
