Good Morning!

When I was rummaging through unpacked boxes and bins in my studio the other day, I came across some collage type paper that I had purchased Waaaaaaaaaaay back in the day.   I am talking many many years ago.   I can’t even recall where they came from or who makes them, but they are too too funny and actually, quite timely as you will see.

So, here is how the pieces fell together.    I was cruising SCS about an hour ago, when I came upon the Inspiration Challenge.   Our inspiration today comes from Grandin Road.    I fell upon this piece.    Immediately, I saw this card in the colors.   Possum Stew!

I colored and cut out the image and popped it on two layers of Label 3 nesties.   Lovin’ my new nesties!   Then I took the ‘designer paper’ and tore the edges to make it look somewhat old.   I had to laugh at the paper as it (the recipe) calls for 1/2 a possum…. suggesting that you use the second 1/2 for breafast omlettes.

Here are my deets:

Stamps: There She Goes‘ Tastes Like Chicken

Colors: Chocolate Chip,  Creamy Caramel, GP White, unknown maker Dps

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, copics

Accessories: ribbon, floss, hole punch, label 3 nesties, word window punch, dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by!   I hope you all have a marvelous holiday weekend!

I love this, it is sooo darn cute! My boys are always calling me and asking “how do you cook Such & such” ? (what ever they are hungry for.) I told them one day that I was going to give them a recipe that tasted so bad, that they would never call me for another recipe again! LOL I made them a recpice book with ALL of the recipes they were raised on and it is just eaiser to CALL me rather than look it up! LOL I really DON’T mind giving them the recipes, I just like to joke around with them. Are you willing to share your POSSUM STEW recipe so I could share it with them? I would love to pull this little trick on them! I love the Stamp too…gotta have it!!!!
Thanks for sharing this cute card!!!!!
