Good morning, ya’ll

I have alot to be thankful for and I want to say THANK YOU to all of you.    I truly appreciate all the well wishes for me and my cold, for my DH and is accident and for concern for Marci.   You all just ROCK!   We are all doing well right now, so your prayers have not gone unanswered.

I do wish to express my concern for a reader and loyal friend, Kathy.    Kathy lives in Australia and as most of you know, there are disasters striking Australia this past week and even now.   One part of the continent is suffering from torrential rain (correct me if I am wrong, Kathy) and yet another part is suffering devastating fires.   There is loss of life and loss of property.   Please keep our Aussie friends in your prayers.

I woke up feeling pretty good this morning.    I am back o checking out the challenges first thing… which means I must be feeling better! LOL   Today’s Ways To Use It challenge calls for fabric.    Well that was pretty easy.   I live in a family of quilters, so there is alot of fabric laying around.

For my piggie thanks, I used a piece of pink gingham ribbon and I even have pink fabric button brads to match!   How fortuitous!   I cut him out and mounted him on dimensionals and then popped his head, too.   I am sending this to a friend who did me a huge favor recently.    I love me friends!!

Here are the deets:

Stamps:  You’re so Punny (my set!) from There She Goes

Colors: Chocolate Chip, GP White, Pink Pirouette, Basic Grey dps

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, copics

Accessories: fabric button brads, gingham fabric, nesties label 2, circle punches, swiss dots ef, dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by…. may you have an abundantly blessed day!

Glad to hear you are on the upswing 🙂 Will be nice not to have to throw cold meds into the mix! Glad to hear DH is feeling better too. Make sure he behaves and wears his harness or I’ll have to come down and give him a piece of my mind in person (said with hand on hip and other finger wagging in the air LOL!)

This little piggy is cute. I have a girlfriend who just adores pigs and I thought of her when I saw this. Love the buttons and the dimension on the piggy. Great card.

Oh Holly!! Thank you so much for thinking of us!! Your post brought tears to my eyes. Yes, you are right, half of my state is under water in severe flood. Our state is very large and the part under water is the size of the state of South Australia. At the other end of our country in the state of Victoria savage bushfires have burnt half the state. 181 people are dead, 500 badly injured, 7000 homeless, 1831 homes have been burnt to the ground. The fires are the worst disaster in our history. A card appeal is underway for anyone wanting to send messages of support – please contact me if you want to be a part of it. All prayers are also very welcome.

As usual your card is just darling!!!
