Ha! You are asking WHAT? LOL… let me just tell you…. taking Nyquil and antihistimines at the same time will make one hallucinate!   That’s the kinda night I had.   AND.. I stamped.

So, what did the penguin say to the snowman?  “One by one, the yard gnomes are stealing my sanity”.     Yeaaaaaaaaaah!   It really was just that interesting in my dreams last night.    I woke up at one point and thought the tv was up too loud.   It was off.

So, here is what I did while I was hallucinating…….

Completely awful, I know.    They should put warnings on those cold medicine packages! LOL  “Do not attempt to STAMP while on this medication”.    LOL     The heart is actually handdrawn and the  wavy overlays were popped on with dimensionals.   I can’t believe I actually took a picture of it, but I did, so I had to share it with you.  :)~

Ok, so I woke up waaay groggy… had a cup of coffee and tried again.    Get back on that horse, my mom would say.   I am much happier with the second result.

I found my inspiration from this hunkydoryhome cushion.    I have a thing for gingham.    It reminds me of the old days.   My mom use to make my clothes when I was little and I wore alot of gingham.   And, since red IS my favorite color, again, thanks to my mom, I was inspired to do this:

I thought of my cousin’s little girl, Beilynn while I was making this.   She is the sweetest little thing and I wanted to make a special valentine just for her… and, even though they live only a scant 3 miles away, I am going to mail it to her, because what little girl doesn’t feel special when she gets real mail!?

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  Our Craft Lounge’s Lola Love

Colors: Real Red, GP White, paper Studio “Back to Basics” dp

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, copics, white gel pen

Accessories: red rhinestones, ribbon, circle punch, scalloped oval punches, scissors, dimensionals

Thanks for my morning laugh re: your dreams 🙂 Maybe Emily G. had something to do with it as she loves gnomes.

Anyway, love the gingham card. Cute little girl and I know your cousin’s little girl will love it. My kids love getting mail so good for you for mailing it – you’ll make her day.

Hope the cold subsides so you can enjoy a peaceful sleep!

You are too funny. I hope you feel better soon. I love both cards but the gingham card is adorable. I’m sure your little friend will be thrilled when she receives it in the mail.

Hmm, maybe I need to get drugged up so I can come up with some creative cards! LOL Too funny! I will be stamping in a bit to make v-day cards for my 2 granddaughters and will be mailing them out either tomorrow or Tues. They live about a 45 minute drive from us.

    Love the gingham card!
