~Sneak Peeking a Challenge or Two ~
December 29th, 2008 by Holly McMillen
Today I am giving you a couple sneak peeks at the upcoming releases from There She Goes. When I received the new sets, I could NOT wait to get them inky. They are all fabulously designed and have tons of potential.
I was away for a few days at Christmas, so I went back and did a challenge (IC) that I missed with this first one. This is the new mini set “Rain and Sunshine”. Packed with great images and an awesome saying to go with it, this one is a must have.
I created my own designer paper on this, using a pencil eraser to create the blue dots (to emulate rain) and a yellow marker and a ruler to create the yellow stripes (to emulate sunrays). The curve on the card is made using an xacto knife.
Here are the deets:
Stamps: There She Goes’ Rain and Sunshine
Colors: Summer Sun, Bashful Blue, GP White
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Bashful Blue, copics
Accessories: brads, ribbon, dimensionals, oval scallop punches, xacto knife, scissors, ruler, pencil eraser

This one just makes me giggle. Lynn came up with a fun funky fold for us to try for today’s TLC. It is a squash book turned into a card. I was a bit confused at first as to what I could do with it, but am pleased now with the result. You can find the instructions for the fold here.
Again, I used a new There She Goes set (LOL Taglines). Now, you gotta know my DH to really appreciate this little card. My DH has three passions in life….. Hunting, Fishing and Beer. When I saw this image, I nearly PIMP! He hasn’t seen it yet, but he will get quite a kick out of it.
Here it is opened:
I created a belly band to hold it closed and now that I look at it, I see a couple things I could do to improve it, but isn’t that the way it always is?
Here are the deets:
Stamps: There She Goes LOL Taglines
Colors: Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Holiday Treasures dp, gp white
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, copics
Accessories: brads, velvet ribbon, sticky tape, xacto knife, scissors, bone folder, dimensionals
Let me know what you think!
TFL!~ and have a blessed day 🙂
Awesome job Holly! I just love what you did with these two sets! My DH is also a hunter and fisher…. So needless to say I don’t see too much of him during the summer and fall lol!!
Both are so cute!
