FS95 ~ It’s 2am and I’m Not Sleeping…… ~

Oy, Oy, Oy!
My momma use to say “You can sleep when you’re dead”.. Now, I know that is kinda a morbid statement, but she was also an insomniac. I would give almost anything for a good night’s sleep! Well, since I am awake at 2am, I decided to check out the FS for today… much to my happy suprise, it is one of my favorite stampers, flowergal36 (Dawn)! I think Dawn has a wonderful style. She doesn’t have that big of a gallery yet, but what she has is definitely worth casing!
I chose this card of Dawn’s to case. I only changed colors/season and added my sentiment panel. Since I could not use the printer at 2am, I had to freehand the dress. Much to my suprise, it came out pretty well, but you can find a template for the dress HERE.

I thought I would share this with you, too. I am not a scrapbooker, but I took pictures of my Aunt Flo’s grandchildren and made her a scrapbook page in a shadow box for an early Christmas present. 🙂 I think it came out pretty good!
I’m likely to be back with more FS cards…….. it is going to be a cold, gloomy Sunday and I have nothing pressing to do but get Christmas cards done!

My second FS card for today. I kept the sketch the same as her card here. I used a circle in the middle instead of a squre, moved the sentiment and changed image and DPs.
I am having a blast in Dawn’s gallery. She has a great style and being one of the challenge chasers, I am familiar with her awesome work. She leaves the sweetest comments, too!
I am about 2/3rd of the way done with Christmas cards now…. just a few more and I can move on to the next holiday :).

This little reindeer is adorable. Love how you accented his nose and the antlers. That snowflake ribbon is to die for!! Where did you get it?!
Fun dress with the nice satin ribbon at the waist. My eyeballing at 2:00 a.m. wouldn’t be nearly as good LOL!! I’m sure your aunt will love the picture box of the g-kids too.

Wow, Holly, you’ve really been on a roll lately! The dress is so fun with the dotted paper and your Aunt will treasure the shadow box! I love the dimension of the nose and antlers for the reindeer! The DP’s are really fun and I like the ovals added to the sentiment!
