IC154 ~ Your Kindness Is A Blessing~
November 15th, 2008 by Holly McMillen
Well, I have been up since 4am…. two cups of coffee down and I took on the Inspiration Challenge. So much for sleeping in on a Saturday! 🙂
Today’s Inspiration challenge (The Felted Garden) has some awesome Inspiration pieces. I chose this one for the colors:
Isn’t it gorgeous!? I immediately saw Cool Caribbean and knew it was the one for me. CC has always been my favorite color of SU!’s.
For my card, I used a pencil eraser to create the dots. There are small white flowers on the CC, but it is hard to see in my picture. Then I cut out the leaves from Give Thanks and popped them on. I used a small flower from a MFT set, too. The sentiment is from an old retired SU! set that I can’t even find the name to….. if you know the name, please let me know!
It snowed (1/2 inch) here yesterday, but was gone by mid morning. My kids were like “does it ever REALLY snow here?
That is the old Buffalo attitude in them….lol.
Here are the deets on my card:
Stamps: Give Thanks (leaves); MFT (flowers); Unknown retired SU! set (sentiment); Pencil eraser (Dots).
Colors: Basic Black, GP White, Cool Caribbean, Creamy Caramel
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Versafine White, Versamark
Accessories: brads (white); Ribbon, scissors, hole punches, Cuttlebug EF, dimensionals, white EP
TFL and have a blessed Saturday!
That is funny about the snow! We got the leftovers at around midnight, when I got up to let Fiona out. Nothing much, really, which is fine with me!
Your card is delightful and is so cozy looking – like the scarf!
COOL!!! I love it when you make your own DP!!
I am so sorry you couldn’t sleep (that is always the WORST!) {{{HUG}}}
