I have, I have! I’ve been thinking of ALL my stamping friends this week as I’ve been a busy little bee. I have all my swaps for the gathering to finish, though I’ve cut paper for them all.
I took time out this morning to participate in the Featured Stamper challenge on SCS…. because today’s featured stamper is one of my personal favorites…… Kharmagirl (Jodi)!!! I just love Jodi’s style. She’s also a challenge chaser, like me! Jodi is such a sweetheart. You have to check the challenge out if you haven’t already.
I chose to case this card by Jodi. I am almost always drawn to layout first and this one caught my eye. I changed up the colors, images and left the flower out in place of some lush brown velvet ribbon. I also added brads. All my images are Hambo (www.hambostamps.com).
This was a very quick card. I needed something quick this morning as I have a male friend who is suffering some medical issues and I need to get a card to him.

I LOVE THIS CARD!!
First of all that knotted velvet ribbon is FABULOUS–looks just like the tree in the image!! Then there is the colors—That GREEN GALORE looks GOOD (I really should write this combo down–so I can do it, too!) Then there is the stamping/coloring. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!

This is so cute Holly! I love how you’ve split up the sentiment – something I wouldn’t have thought of but it really adds interest. The velvet ribbon really does look like a tree branch! 🙂

I can imagine how tough multiple duplications of a card must be for you as you are so creative in your card making. However, those who get your cards will be thrilled, I’m sure!! Lucky they are –insert green-headed little jealousy monster here LOL!! Fill us in on your experiences there, I’m sure it will be a blast.
By the weay, how’s hubby’s new job going? Hope he is settling in well and things are back into a rhythm for the family. Blessings.
