~Very Punny Minis~

very-punny-minis.jpg  Today’s Featured Stamper on Splitcoaststampers.com is ParisOtremba.  You can check out her gallery here.  I have to admit, I was not familiar with Paris’ work,  but a trip through her gallery and I was so inspired!  Really beautiful gallery, Paris.

I have to say I’m on a mini kick right now.. I apologize to those that aren’t into them.   I chose this little group of cards by Paris to case.  I really loved the simple layout.. and I stuck to it pretty well.  I did use the same set as I just liked the way they fit so nicely on these little cards.  I changed DP, cuttled the added layer, added brads, changed the ribbon treatment and used a scallop circle instead of a square.

I’m going to make a box for these, you gotta know that! LOL

It’s pretty WHITE where we are this morning.  The snow has fallen steady for the last day and a half.  We are at about 10″, but some areas around here have up to 2 feet!  I’m pretty house bound, but with the studio calling……… 🙂

Here’s my deets:

Stamps:  Very Punny by Stampin’ UP!

Colors:  Brocade Blue, GP White, Rebecca DPs (retired)

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Copics

Accessories: mini brads, mini grosgrain ribbon, scallop punch, circle punch, cuttlebug EF, dimensionals

TFL!~ and have a blessed day.

These are darling 🙂 Love that CB BG.

Sorry to hear about all the snow. I’m glad we are on the West Coast and snow is a thing of the past. The crocuses are up and tulips are sprouting out of the ground — sorry, this probably isn’t helping!! Mind you, getting lots of snow does give one the perfect reason to stamp! I, on the other hand, have to burn my 7 year old son out as his energy level is too high right now and he is driving us all crazy. Think it will be a trip to the field to kick a soccer ball around or a walk for us and a scooter ride for the kids! Oh to have their energy in my body!!

    They are so sweet! 🙂

Sorry about the snow – we never, ever, ever get snow here (Australia) so I can’t even imagine what it’s like.

Thanks Holly for the lovely comment about my challenge card on SCS! Made my day!! 🙂

I love these Holly — especially the fact that they’re small. I think they’re the perfect antidote when one is having a hard time figuring out how to fill up all the space on a big card. Don’t! Just make the card smaller. 🙂

    Stay warm!

Holly, I am new to this page and absolutely love your creativity. I am also a new Cricut owner-just getting started. In one of your posts you said to make the oval scallop you used the Cricut and just “stretched it a tiny bit.”
Question: How do you stretch something with a Cricut? Thank you. Can’t wait to see more of your work!
