~ Unique Sunflower ~
August 28th, 2017 by Holly McMillen
I have to admit that I don’t know much about flowers. I love coloring them, but almost never know what color would be appropriate. Then one day I just threw my hands up and declared that my flowers will be whatever color I need them to be!
I’ve learned a lot about flowers thanks to Google, but I still feel comforted by the fact that with today’s cross breeding and such, there really could be a teal centered sunflower.

This one was made especially for my daughter-in-love, Kalika. She loves sunflowers! And, she is a very unique girl. Love her so much! By the way, she’s the one that’s pregnant with our grandbaby due in January. Her birthday is next month.

I remember the sunflowers in California as being like 6ft tall and heads about 12″ in diameter. When the seeds start to fall out, the almost explode.
