~ Sprockets, a Steampunk themed birthday card ~
July 10th, 2017 by Holly McMillen
All the years we spent raising our boys, I was looking forward to the day that they flew the coup and made lives of their own. I knew by experience that one or two, or maybe all, would at some point return for a period of time. Well, that’s just what happened two weeks ago.
My youngest son, his pregnant fiancee and her three year old daughter were driven from their space with absolutely no notice. Oh, and they have a mini chihuahua. So our little 2 bedrooom, 2 bath apartment was housing for 4 adults, 1 child, a cat and a puppy. Seriously loved having them here, but happy to say they are now in their own apartment!

Now that the housing issue is fixed, it’s time to celebrate some birthdays. My oldest son is turning 34 on the 27th, so this will be his card.

All of my sons have a healthy love for all things steampunk. They get it from their mother!
