~ Patriotism ~

Hello, friends.
As Independence Day nears, I get a little melancholy about those in my family and friends who have fought to protect our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution.
A wise person once told me that Patriotism was love of country, whereas Capitalism was the love of our government. I definitely consider myself a patriot and a lover of the founding principals in which our country was created.
Today’s SCS Sketch challenge was a perfect way for me to express that love.
