Happy Wednesday!

Today’s share is a Mother’s Day card in honor of my mother who passed away 32 years ago this month. Her middle name was Rose and roses were surely one of her favorite things!

I tried a new technique (ink blending) with this card.

First I embossed the rose on white cardstock with white embossing powder. Then I used ink pads to blend ink onto the image. So soft and subtle!

I used:

Stamp Simply Clear Stamps – Thinking of you Rose

Stamp Simply Steel Dies – Rose

Thinking of you Rose – Bundle

Craft Consortium – Bright Blooms
Baker’s Twine – pink/white

Versamark

Spellbinders Nestabilities – Standard Ovals
Doily
Detail white embossing powder
Blending brushes
Memento inks
Nuvo drops
