easter blessings header

Just so that we’re all on the same page… it IS still mid March, in the winter, right?  Like most everywhere, we’ve had the strangest winter.  We’re in Colorado, but not the high country that gets gobs of snow yearly.  We’re on the Front Range, but still get a good amount each year.  This year, not so much.  Call me out on it… I believe in Global Warming.  Skeery stuff.

However, it’s not going to damper my Easter!  My most favorite religious holiday, by far.  I love the spring colors, soft pastels, blossoming flowers, and new life.

Let me tell you a little bit about the hymnal pages I used on this card.  When Sharon @ The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store send me these pages, I was definitely excited.  I love using any kind of text background.  While I was sorting through the pages to find what I wanted, I came across the music / lyrics for This is My Father’s World.  It was my mother’s favorite hymn.  I could practically hear her singing.  Had a quick cry and back to work.

The greatest part about the Stamp Simply Clear Stamp sets is that they have so many different greetings, scriptures and such to really finish off your card nicely.
