~ Cottage Rose Double Pocket Card ~
July 11th, 2016 by Holly McMillen
My husband had to remind me today that our oldest son will be 33 in a few days. What? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?? I can NOT have a child that old. What really amazes me is that I have no grandchildren yet! I guess I spent way too much time telling them to respect their girls and themselves by NOT going unprotected. They certainly took me seriously. My hubby will point blank ask the two that are married WHEN they will bless us with children. Me… I just pray.
Today’s fun fold is a double pocket card. I really loved making this one. You can find the tutorial at Splitcoaststampers in the tutorial section here.
Now, the instructions tell you to cut your pocket 5 x 11.25″, then you score at odd places. I made it super easy by cutting my base 5.25″ x 12″ and simply scoring at the 4″ and 8″ marks. The rest of the instructions I did the same as shown in the tutorial.

The pockets can hold whatever you can fit, but the top one I just slid a little tag in, which could be used for a verse or quote. The second pocket is perfect for a gift card.
I used;
Kaisercraft Cottage Rose 6.5 x 6.5″
Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders
Spellbinders scalloped circles
Spellbinders circles
May Arts pink satin ribbon
