~ Let’s talk Bible Journaling ~
March 17th, 2016 by Holly McMillen
There are two big new trends in the art world. One of those is Bible Journaling. I’ve had the pleasure to view some of the most amazing art that friends are putting in their journaling Bible. Now, my ability to draw comes in spurts. I haven’t done much in some time now, other than Zentangle. But I’m getting more and more comfortable with my journaling. It’s awesome when you can find stamps to fit! Several of the new Stamp Simply Clear Stamps work wonderfully!
So my first share is my journal page using the He Has Risen set.
My one no-no in Bible Journaling is covering the text so that it can no longer be read. Others feel differently. I do have several different versions of the Bible, but this one with a 2″ margin is my favorite.
Of course these stamps make gorgeous cards, too! We all have an arsenal of stamp images, but finding that right sentiment for the front or inside of your card is always a challenge.
I used:
Stamp Simply Clear Stamps – He Has Risen
Spellbinders – Cross Dies
Kaisercraft Mini Blooms – Coconut
Prima Serenade Aqua Rose
1/4″ May arts silk = light blue

Don’t you just love versatile stamps?! I do!
Thanks for stopping by!

This creation of yours is inspirational to use the scriptures more in card making. I like the use of the lattice as a base too. Thanks for the opportunity to win one of these sets! Just awesome!
