~ A New Year a comin’ ~

I need time to slow down just a little. I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around the idea of 2016. You see,
I wasn’t suppose to live past 37. No, I don’t have some nepharious disease. It was the year 2000 that confounded
me. I just could envision living to that age. Of course, I was 8 yrs old and 37 sounded ancient. Somehow it
stuck with me for many years after age 8 and somehow perpetuated itself into my reality.
Well, now I’m 53. Yeah, it’s definitely still with me.
The hubby and I have not been to a New Year’s party in so long. He is usually out by 9 or 10 and I manage to keep
one eye open until midnight, then I zonk. I want to go to a party this year!
I made a little gift to give my aunts and grandmother, so I made this card to go along with it..
