Well, first off, this is the only picture I’m sharing in this post…..

This…. the Tiny House, has become my new obsession.  I began my obsession with Gypsy Caravans.  I pitched that idea to the husband and it went over like a lead balloon.  I plotted and planned and started telling him about tiny houses.  We currently live in a little over 2000 square feet, so this concept was lost on him (and he’s a carpenter…sheesh!).  Little by little the idea of living in less than 200 square feet has won him over.  He has demanded a LARGE pole barn to house his man cave.   Ok, so there’s that.

The burning question… where are my paper creations!?  Well, they are few these days.  I will be back at it, but for the time being, I am taking another hiatus to work on a project that I’ve dreamed of my entire life.  I am in the process of illustrating a children’s book.   The book will be tactile in nature and brightly colored.   I feel called to do this at this time and it’s keeping me creative!

Lastly, I have to say that I am having a blast working with mix media, lately.   I promise to take some pictures when the sun comes out, so I can share with you.

in the meantime, keep your EYE on the cross.

Peace!

Holly

I am so interested in the Tiny House! I have been researching online about them. DH doesn’t think he can survive in anything less than 1000sf. We currently have a 4 bedroom and we’re empty-nesters. We are looking to downsize and relocate. I’ll be looking forward to more about the Tiny House, and when the children’s book is out (for my grandkids).
My hat is off to you! Way to go on the fabulous adventures!

I have seen these tiny houses on HGTV — they had a special on them — also they were on a special on renovating a 10 and 14 ft square cabins — they were simply amazing. Good Luck on this project!!
Many blessings on your book project — I’m just envious !!!
Looking forward to seeing all your fabulous work!!
