Welcome, Friends!

A Christmas sale in August?!  Why, you say? 🙂

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store needs more space for incoming product.  Some of the Christmas items currently in stock are being offered at reduced prices to clear those shelves.  Today the Design Team is here to inspire you in the creation of your Christmas projects, and with the papers and some of the other items in use being offered at SALE prices, what better time to stock up than now!!!  Sale prices are in effect while current inventory lasts — when it’s gone, it’s gone — so sorry.

So, if you’ve arrived here from Sharon’s blog (notimetostamp), then you’re in the right spot!  If not, you may wish to back up to her blog to see the full spectrum of our projects.

Here’s my first item….

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  JustRite Stampers’ Deck the Halls cling set

Colors: Basic Black, Vanilla, Riding Hood Red, Basic Grey Jovial dp

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark, Tim Holtz tea bag distressing ink, copics, Riding Hood Red

Accessories:  3/8″ Red metallic velvet ribbon, Lace and Pearl Borders (Burgandy) , 1/2 pearls (*) , scalloped border punch, snowflake punch, sponges, white embossing powder, Tim Holtz damask embossing folder, Label 13 dies, sticky tape, dimensionals

*I needed dark red 1/2 pearls, so I took some champagne colored 1/2 pearls and colored them with my brick red copic marker.   Let them sit for a bit and voila!

Here’s a little close up view:

Well, I wasn’t done playing so I did more 🙂

A few days ago, I found some cool money envelopes while organizing my studio.  The envelopes measure 6 1/2 x 3 1/2″ with the flap on the 3 1/2″ side.   So, I created these Christmas “cash” cards to use with the envelopes!

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  JustRite Stampers’ Deck The Halls cling set, JustRite Stampers Merry and Bright cling set

Paper: Basic Black, Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip, GP White, Vanilla, Basic Grey Jovial dp

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Sage Shadow, Tim Holtz tea bag and antique photo distressing inks

Accessories: 1 1/4″ silk ribbon (black, Olive and Burgandy), coordinating embroidery floss, hole punch, oval punch, word window punch, tim holtz damask embossing folder, holly ribbon embossing folder, snow dots embossing folder, sticky tape, 1/2 pearls (black, chocolate and seafoam)
