Hi Friends!

I use to say that my life was like riding a roller coaster.  It dawned on me recently that it’s more like a hamster wheel.  I am running, running, running and never getting anywhere.   I have to own that, too.  You see, I have a tendency to allow my boundaries to be broken (if I have a boundary at all!).   I never was very good at sticking up for myself.   My mom once called me a martyr.   At the time I didn’t realize that statement was a negative thing.   I mean, Joan of Arc was a martyr, right?

Today I am going to share a couple cards.   One I made today for the Technique Lover’s Challenge (stacked cards ~ or also known as telescoping cards)

This was fun to do, but took a little thinking to make sure it opens correctly.

Here it is opened:

Here are my deetails:

I’d also like to share with you a card I made for the Dare To Get Dirty challenges.   I thought I had already shared it, but I can’t find it on my blog, so here you go!

Let me tell ya… I had such a blast making this card.  I fiddle and fidgeted with the coloring and getting everything just so.   I couldn’t find the sentiment that I wanted, so I made one up myself and printed it out.   It says “O~FISH-ally Retired”.

Here are my deets:

Stamps: Rubbernecker Stamps Ralph fishingSKU:562-02

So, we moved my studio this past weekend and now that it’s in a more convenient place (although it’s way smaller!), I think a stamping marathon is on the horizon!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Hugs!

Holly, hugs. You have a lot on your shoulders. It is ok to be the martyr sometimes. You aren’t alone. I am praying for you. I love your stacked card. That butterfly is absolutely gorgeous!!!!! I hope I find time to play today.

Love the butterfly card! Can’t say I have seen that fold/type of card before. So unique and how fun! Great job on it.

Can see why you giggled at the second one. A pun just for you 🙂 Wonderfully coloured and the lure on the front is perfect. Great set of cards 🙂

Hoping you can settle into your new space well and enjoy a stamping marathon!! Just finished mine being a Guest Diva for Verve’s 4th anniversary Release. A huge bucket list item fulfileld and what fun it was being behind the scenes too. Needless to say, I’m having a Verve hang over today!!
