~ CASE Study ~

Hi ya’ll 🙂

I’m pretty sure that spring has sprung here in Colorado.   We are having cool nights and warm(ish) days.   Our yard is turning back to that lush green that it was last year and the trees are full of blossoms.   I’m so psyched!!!

I’ve been having a tough time in the creativity department, though.   Not that I can’t stamp, it’s just that I don’t want to.  That’s kind of concerning me.   Maybe it’s a brief phase.  Let’s hope.

Today I combined the CASE Study challenge with the SCS Ways to Use it challenge (Oval-icious).   I have to admit I wasn’t very creative with the oval part, but hey…

Here are my deets:

Stamps: Wordsworth ~ Poetry of the Earth (from Stamp Simply Ribbon Store)

Colors: GP White, Vellum,  Basic Grey Oliver (red dp), Pink Paislee 365 degrees (blue dp)

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

Accessories: 1/4″ dark blue satin ribbon, 1/2 pearls, swiss dots embossing folder, oval nestabilities, butterfly nestabilities, sticky tape, dimensionals.

Here’s a close up:

Thanks so much for stopping by!   Now I need to go get my hands dirty!

Hugs!

Okay, I passed on that butterfly nestie and it looks so fabulous here in vellum I”m having second thoughts! Cut it out LOL! Great card. I think with all the warm weather you just want to be outside more than inside or get going on some spring cleaning thus the lack of desire. It will reappear when it’s ready 🙂 Have a blessed Easter weekend (((hugs)))

Holly, this is so pretty. First, I just love the sentiment. Then, I really liked the way the oval peeks from under the other paper. I love that idea. Great embellishments on this card. Oh, I really want to see what the inside of your card looks like. Any pictures? Thanks for sharing.

I’m pretty sure that by the looks of this card, you haven’t lost any mojo…in fact, most of us would be happy to have one of your off days! I love the colors you put together for this Holly, they coordinate so well, especially with the vellum butterfly. The whole card is just beautiful. Thanks for joining us this week at CASE Study!
