Is it spring?  I’m confused.  Saturday it was 81 balmy degrees and Sunday never got out of the 30s with snow and wind.   Everyone in the house is sneezing and blowing and coughing.   Not good!   I’ve decided to ignore it and hope it just goes away :).

So, in an effort to make myself feel like spring, I decided that this week’s Technique Lover’s Challenge would be to make one of Leigh O’Brien’s Totally Totebags.   They are so cute!!   And, with Easter just around the corner, they are the perfect size to hand out to your sweet friends and family!

Stamps: JustRite Vintage Ovals and JustRite Charmed

Colors: Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Lovely Lilac, GP White

Ink: Pretty In Pink, Certainly Celery, Memento Tuxedo Black, copics

Accessories: 1/4″ Lavendar silk ribbon, white brads, baby pink Fairytale roses, pink, green and lavendar rhinestones, scalloped circle punch, circle punch, 1″ circle punch, oval punch, swiss dots embossing folder, sticky tape, dimensionals, ribbon threading punch, scalloped border punch

I created the easter eggs by punching a oval with the medium oval punch, then inserting it into the 1″ circle punch to round the bottom.   A little snipping with the scissors to straighten it up and voila..instant easter eggs!
