Hello friends 🙂

Well, some of you might be wondering where the heck I’ve been.   I wish there were an easy answer to that, but there isn’t.   After several weeks of mayhem, I am feeling much more human, though.

I have a confession to make.   I have a guilty pleasure.   I like to read Yahoo! news articles and smack down the trolls who make comments based on race, religion or political party lines.    I’ve come to the conclusion that we are a nation ready to implode.   Look, I have no biases against any class or race.   I truly believe we are all created equally.   So with that said, why do we use terms like “Mexican-American”, “African-American”, etc.?   When we use those kind of terms, we separate ourselves into groups and that indicates a difference.   I am still a proponent of the idea that united we stand, divided we fall.

Ok, enough of my soap box preaching.   After a long rest, my studio got quite a workout this morning.   I rearranged a bit, sorted through some embellishments and finally sat down and made a card.    I used this week’s Inspiration Challenge site ( Cath Kidston) for my inspiration.   I literally used the entire site.   I was struck by all the polka dots.   I LOVE polka dots.

I used the eraser of a large pencil (like a Kindergarten kid would use) for the Pacific Point dots and then I used a large hole punch for the Kiwi Kiss dots

I kept this super simple…. I would even dare call it CAS.   It just felt good to create again.

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  There She Goes’ Sentimental Birthday

Colors: GP White, Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss

Ink: Pacific Point

Accessories: 1/2″ yellowish  green grosgrain, 1/2″ white satin, 1/2 pearls, EK Success border punch, large hole punch, pencil eraser, corner rounder, dimensionals, sticky tape

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs!
