~ I Love Us ~

Hi friends!

Ok, so I know that Valentines day is a Hallmark created event that is meant to sell their cards and gifts.    What I never expected was to agree with one of their ad campaigns.   Have you see it?  I love us.   Yeah, they are now pushing the idea that Valentine’s Day is not a day to say “I love you” but rather “I love us”.   I love that idea…LOL.

This is my week for the fun and festivities over on the There She Goes blog.   I did a challenge on Monday, a tutorial on Wednesday and now I did  this Dollar Find Friday project today.

I started with this cute little bucket from the Target dollar spot.   I covered it with material and ribbons.   Slapped a sentiment on the front, wrapped the handle in ribbon and filled this baby with lots of chocolate!

Who’s getting this?   One of the boys’ girls…… no fair, huh? 🙂

All I know is that it had better leave my desk soon or it’s going to get eaten!

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  There She Goes’  Buckets of Love

Colors: GP White

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Real Red

Accessories: pink gingham material, heart brads, valentine themed cellophane, sticky tape, 1 1/4″ crocheted lace, 7/8″ white lace, 3/8″ red velvet ribbon, ribbon scraps,

That’s it for me today.   I love us!!!

Hugs 🙂

That’s all I can say. You most definitely have made this blog into something that’s eye opening and important.
