~ Getting Sentimental ~
January 7th, 2011 by Holly McMillen
Hello, Friends 🙂
Today I’m playing catch up. Â The last couple of days have been a blur around here. Â I haven’t been sleeping well, so during the day I am sluggish and get nothing significant done. Â Today I am going to kick it into high gear and get it all done so I have the weekend to play!
Yesterday I stamped, but didn’t get a blog post done. Â I made a little fun card for the Ways To Use It challenge over at SCS. Â Our challenge was to use twine. Â Here’s what I came up with:
Having been a dog owner and a cat owner at different times, I can testify to this sentiment. Â Our last fur baby was a cat named Rockstar. Â We called him Rocky. Â He actually belonged to my oldest son and his girlfriend, but since I was the hoomin that fed and tended to his every whim, he attached himself to me. Â I could not sit down without Rocky plopping himself in my lap. Â I totally loved that cat. Â Unfortunately, when we left New York we were told that Rocky was not going to be welcome in our home in Colorado, so we had to leave him behind. Â I am told that he is flourishing in his new home.

So this morning I was checking out the Free 4 All challenge on SCS and the requirement was something purple, something pink and a heart. Â Well, it was the perfect timing for this fun little project I’ve been working on. Â I have been playing around with my different computer programs and have made some custom designer paper. Â Â The paper I used here was created in MS paint, then manipulated with GIMP and finally picnik.com. Â I just saved it as a jpg file and pasted it into a word document to print. Â Fun!!
