Hello, Friends 🙂

Today I’m playing catch up.   The last couple of days have been a blur around here.   I haven’t been sleeping well, so during the day I am sluggish and get nothing significant done.   Today I am going to kick it into high gear and get it all done so I have the weekend to play!

Yesterday I stamped, but didn’t get a blog post done.   I made a little fun card for the Ways To Use It challenge over at SCS.  Our challenge was to use twine.   Here’s what I came up with:

Having been a dog owner and a cat owner at different times, I can testify to this sentiment.   Our last fur baby was a cat named Rockstar.   We called him Rocky.   He actually belonged to my oldest son and his girlfriend, but since I was the hoomin that fed and tended to his every whim, he attached himself to me.   I could not sit down without Rocky plopping himself in my lap.  I totally loved that cat.   Unfortunately, when we left New York we were told that Rocky was not going to be welcome in our home in Colorado, so we had to leave him behind.   I am told that he is flourishing in his new home.

My deets on this:

Stamps: There She Goes’ Puppy Love, TSG’ Cattitude and TSG’ Domestic Goddess

Colors: GP White, Real Red, Always Artichoke, Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety dp

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, copics

Accessories: red velvet ribbon, petaloo flowers, red 1/2 pearls, oval punch, scalloped oval punch, twine, hole punch, dimensionals, sticky tape

So this morning I was checking out the Free 4 All challenge on SCS and the requirement was something purple, something pink and a heart.   Well, it was the perfect timing for this fun little project I’ve been working on.   I have been playing around with my different computer programs and have made some custom designer paper.    The paper I used here was created in MS paint, then manipulated with GIMP and finally picnik.com.   I just saved it as a jpg file and pasted it into a word document to print.  Fun!!

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  There She Goes’ Sentimental (designed by Julie Lacey)

Colors: GP White, Lovely Lilac, Dp by Me 🙂

Ink: Regal Rose, copics

Accessories: 1″ satin ribbon from Stamp Simply ribbon Store, pink 1/2 pearls, circle nesties, heart embossing folder, swiss dots embossing folder, eyelet border punch, corner rounder, sticky tape, computer generated hearts, dimensionals

Ok, I better get busy!   Thanks for stopping by 🙂

Hugs!
