Welcome to JustRite Stampers’ newest Wednesday feature, 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hops #5!   Every Wednesday up until Thanksgiving some of your favorite designers will be joining some of the JustRite design team for a series of Christmas blog hops, showcasing JustRite’s entire Christmas Collection of stamps!  This week, it’s the Stamp Simply design team!  So mark your calendars for Wednesdays at 9am Central for great Christmas gift, card & project ideas, starting at the JustRite Inspiration blog!

I am very excited to be a part of this event!   Ever since I found JustRite Stamps, it’s been *love* at first ink!   My first sample comes from a deep love of everything traditional.

For many years we had two 24″ tall Nutcracker soldiers that stood on either side of our fireplace at Christmas.

My deets:

Stamps: JustRite Vintage Christmas and JustRite Christmas Nested Sentiments

Colors: Riding Hood Red, More Mustard, GP White, Graphic 45 Christmas Past designer paper

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, copics, Tim Holtz, tea bag distressing ink

Accessories: 1/4″ olive satin ribbon, 1/4 brick red satin ribbon,  lacey scalloped circle nestabilities, fancy tag shapeabilities, holly ribbon embossing folder, sewing machine, gold 1/2 pearls, gold stickles, scor tape.

My second sample is a new favorite.   I have grown very fond of the Christmas Cardinal.

I used very traditional colors in my projects today.   Although I take delight in the non-traditional colors, there’s something comforting in traditions.

My deets:

Stamps:  JustRite Backyard Birds and JustRite Christmas Nested Sentiments

Colors:  GP White, Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, copics, Versamark

Accessories: 3/8″ metallic red velvet, Spellbinders Classic Frame, Shapeabilities fancy tags, circle nestabilites, swiss dots embossing folder, snow dots embossing folder, oval punch, red glitz glitter, spray set adhesive, bow easy, scor tape, dimensionals, icicle stickles, red 1/2 pearls.

    Oh Holly,

Both of these cards are just gorgeous. I love the old fashion traditional feel of the nutcraker card. So much texture and detail. The Christmas cardinal is just stunning also. I am glad I do not have to choose between them. Wonderful job. TFS.
