Hi Friends!

Happy Labor Day!   I find it a tad ironic that we are celebrating Labor Day with so many out of work, but I promise not to get political, so we’ll just enjoy the day with family and friends.

In Shakespeare’s As You Like It, the character Jacques eloquently utters:

All the world’s a stage,And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances,And one man in his time plays many parts,His acts being seven ages.

I read quite a bit of shakespeare in school.  My high school drama club did a jazzy version of A Mid Summer Night’s Dream.   I was Titania.   It was a disaster.  Ha!

So this week’s Technique Lovers Challenge we are taping the talent of Kim Score, once again!   Kim (needmorestamps on SCS) is a very talented designer.   Her blog, Paper Punch Addiction is an amazing source of fun!   She graciously agreed to let me feature her Pop Up Stage card for today’s challenge.   You can find the tutorial HERE.

And since school is just starting (tomorrow for many!), I thought I would do my sample with a school theme, thanks to the brand spankin’ new There She Goes Believe In You set!

I am going to admit right here and now that I messed up the belly band.   It will not fit around my entire card.   I didn’t have time to fix it, so I just slid it on to the top.   I will have to go back and make it fit later.

Here are my deets:

Stamps: There She Goes’ Believe In You

Colors: Brilliant Blue, Real Red, Green Galore, Summer Sun, Basic Black, Chocolate Chip, GP White, Paper Studio dp

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, copics, white gel pen, versamark, black sharpie, real red

Accessories: 1 1/2″ wide gingham ribbon in spring green/white from Stamp Simply Ribbon Store,  white embossing powder, xacto knife, scor tape, dimensionals, ruler, scoring blade, large scalloped circle nestie, circle nestie, bow easy.

Thanks for stopping by!   I hope you’ll “POP” on over to the Technique Lovers Challenge forum on Splitcoaststampers and join the fun!
