Hello Friends!

Good grief, I’ve been a busy bee!   With the hubster laid off and the kids just days from going back to school, it seems like we hit the floor running in the morning and crash sometime after dinner.   Even my husband asked yesterday if I was going to stamp this week!   I didn’t know he noticed! LOL

I had to force myself into the studio this morning.   My desire to stamp is meh.   However, when I saw the sketch challenge on Splitcoaststampers, I immediately thought of this card.

I used the large scalloped nesties to create the flower and then I made the leaves by hand.   I stitched “veins” into them and sponged them a bit.   The bottom portion of the card is a pleated piece of chocolate chip cardstock that is sponged as well.   I was hoping for a fence look.

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  Our Craft Lounge Just Bugz and Our Craft Lounge Bees Knees

Colors: Pretty In Pink, Chocolate Chip, GP White, Kiwi Kiss, dp

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, Old Olive, Copics, Tim Holtz’ antique photo distressing ink

Accessories: candy dots, large scallop nesties, circle nesties, circle punches,  swiss dots EF, scoring blade, sewing machine, dimensionals, sponges

Thanks for stopping by!  I promise to get back in the studio more often.   So many things I want to go!!

Hugs,

Holly

Cute, cute, cute, Holly!! I saw the sketch and ran for the hills. How smart of you to make leaves for those panels. Love it 😀 Enjoy the lull after the storm LOL! I’ve still got a month to go before the kids are back at school and summer is always busy with the kids so not much stamping time. At least I’ve been able to read though 😀

    Hi Holly,

What a darling card. I love the flower. You did get the fence look.

You should be getting some happy mail from me tomorrow or Friday.

    Have a wonderful evening.

It *definitely* looks like a fence. Love that!
