Hi Friends!

Well, I have been trying to get this post written since last night and it’s now after 1pm on Saturday.   We’re having Murphy’s Law kind of day here at the McMillen house.   Yesterday, the hubster was notified that he is officially laid off.   Ok, we can deal with that.   There are options for him.   They make take a month or two to come to fruition, but at least they’re there.   My oldest son has been trying to change the universal joints on his girlfriend’s car for weeks.   First he got the wrong parts.   Then he finally got the parts and with his dad’s help, they started the work this morning.   They dropped the drive shaft and were using my husband’s bench vice when the whole side of the vice just sheered off.   Bench vice = BIG MONEY.   Without the vice, they’re pretty much toast.   So they are out trying to find a replacement.   In the meantime, my #2 son brings his 3 month old phone to me and tells me it is broken.   Oh joy.   An hour on the phone with the phone company and a new phone is on it’s way.   Now we have to drive up to Ft. Collins to get a loaner phone for him and make a $50 deposit (refunable, thank God!).   I’m holding my breath that the rest of the day goes smoothly!

So, I did stamp last evening!   I took a look at a few of the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges and made a fun little card based on those.  I used the new JustRite Stampers sets, Holiday Cheer and Groovy Snowmen.   I’m loving these new sets.  Also, the new packaging for JustRite is AWESOME!!  No more of those hard plastic cases.

My little snowman is popped up and has glitter glue on his hat, his flower and on a few of the border flowers.

Sorry to hear about your day – ugh! Hate days like that! You got a threesome so you should be good to go from here on in.

Your card is darling. Love the sparkle and round shape. The ribbon is delicious!

If you need a laugh today, just think of me donning my “eau de chlorine” heavily LOL! Kids are in swimming lessons and I swim laps for the 45 minutes they are in lessons. Then we hang out for another 30 min or so just goofing around in the pool. Hate to think what I”ll be smelling like after two weeks. Even the cat is avoiding me LOL! Blessings,

Oh my goodness…..and since this is the first day of the week….maybe the best is yet to come:)

It is terribly hot and humid here AGAIN today, but hubby finished the mowing left over from yesterday (we have 50 acres on the farm, but only about 3.5 – 4 acres that he has to mow every weekend….ugh).

Your project is just lovely and after all, the cold weather and Christmas Holiday WILL be right around the corner.

Stay safe, stay cool and stay creative:)
