Good morning, friends!

Well, I must admit that my mojo has been playing hide and seek with me this past week.   It seems like when I am inspired to stamp, I am doing something else and when I have time to stamp, then my mojo is waning.   I am trying to figure out how to get back on track.

I spent nearly 90 minutes making this card.   At first, it kinda frustrated me that it took so long, but the process was so relaxing that I don’t really think it matters.   Sometimes a project comes to me and the process just flows.   Other times, it’s like pulling teeth to get the idea from my head to my hands.   Do you experience that?

Today’s Inspiration challenge comes from the Layla Grace website.   There were so many inspiring things to choose from.   I used THIS piece as my muse.

I have to say that a good deal of my inspiration today also came from Yvonne Hagane.   If I am ever in need of a mojo boost, I hit her blog and just drool.   Thank you so much, Yvonne, for sharing your amazing talent with us!

I did a bit of sponging to get my desired colors.   The flower was made with scalloped circle nesties.   I used OCL’s Vintage Swirls on the flower layers.   I first embossed them in white on the Taken with Teal, then I used some copic markers to give that an aged look.

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  Our Craft Lounge Vintage Swirls and Our Craft Lounge Vintage Roses

Colors: Very Vanilla and Taken With Teal

Ink: Versamark, Versafine Black Onyx, Taken With Teal, Tim Holtz distressing inks (Antique Photo and Tea Bag), copics

Accessories: grosgrain ribbon (inked to match the colors), 1/2 pearls, scalloped circle nesties, Fleur de Lis pendant, dimensionals, sponge, white embossing powder

Thanks for stopping by today!   I hope you have a sunny, warm and relaxing weekend.   Blessings!!

Holly

You have just experienced my world of card making LOL! If I can get a card done in under an hour and a half I’m doing a happy dance LOL. Ah the joys of having just one creative gene 😀 However, the feeling of having conquered some paper and embellishments always makes me happy!

Love how you used the nesites on the four panels – such a pretty look and your flower is lovely. Great card. Have a wonderful weekend 😀

This card is so gorgeous I just had to come here to get a closer look. And since I was already here I thought I should sign on to beocme a regular stalker because there was so much pretty to see here. Your follower thingy is a bit different from what I’m used to so I hope i did it right.

Everything goes so well together and the flower is just gorgeous. I had to laugh when I read about your mojo though because that`s exactly how I feel sometimes:)
