Good day, friends!

Well, today is the first day of Summer vacation for my boys.   It’s not even noon yet and I am ready to run away from home.   Having no car and two teenagers is not a good scenario.   I knew the phrase “I’m bored” would pop up eventually, but I didn’t anticipate it to come up in conversation YESTERDAY!!   So, I made them each a long list of chores that have to be done.    If you don’t think that made them madder than hornets, well…   A mother’s revenge … muuhahahaha.

We are having a little company tomorrow, so I need to do a bit of stamping today.    I haven’t stamped since last Tuesday, so I started out with the Technique and Color challenges to warm up my mojo.

Yesterday’s Technique challenge was to make a tent card.    I have to admit that I am not quite certain of the point of this fold.   It stands up nice and looks pretty, but there’s no way to write anything in it.   Maybe I’m missing something.

Also, today’s Color challenge colors are Barely Banana, Close to Cocoa and Garden Green.   I had to sort through scraps to come up with a piece of Garden Green, but I managed!

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  There She Goes’ What’s up Buttercup?

Colors: Gp White, Close to Cocoa, Barely Banana, Garden Green, Soft Sky (our bonus color) and Basic Grey Cappella(from Sharon Johnson’s Ribbon Store)

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, Copics, watercolor pencils

Accessories: Chocolate grosgrain ribbon, rhinestone swirls, nesties, swiss dots, scoring blade, dimensionals, sticky tape

Thanks for stopping by!   Check back tomorrow and I’ll share the little gift I’m making for my guest :).   Blessings!

Darling card, Holly 😀 Just love that BG flower image. Had to chuckle at the “I’m bored” statement because my kids are off school in one month and I’m already dreading hearing that! No more putting out the kiddie pool and letting them play out there all afternoon. The older they get the harder it is to keep them busy and out of trouble. Once they are old enough summer job here we come LOL!

    Beautiful card Miss!! So pretty!
Thankfully my kids have enjoyed some neighborhood friends, but yes, it will be nuts if you are complaining already! LOL… Good luck!!
