~ Our Craft Lounge Sneaky Peeks! Day 2 ~

Good morning, friends….

I am so pleased to be bringing you another sneak peek of one of the 13 new sets from Our Craft Lounge.   They are due to hit the stores on April 30th.   You can find the retailer near you HERE.

Today I am sharing a peek of the new Fishing with Dad set.   This is such a great set and I really NEEDED this.    Just the other night I was talking with my hubster on the phone.   He works up in Vail, Colorado during the week.   He was telling me that he got the chance to do a little fishing.   I asked if he caught anything and he said NO, but at least he didn’t fall in! ha!

I really distressed this one.   I first sponged the colors onto the image, then I sewed the layers together and ran my fingernail around all the edges to get the grungy look.   The fish is colored and popped up and covered in glossy glaze.

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, brilliant blue, night of navy, pumpkin pie, bashful blue, Tim Holtz’ distressing inks

    Awesome card. I wonder if they make a MOM for the set? I used to go fishing on the lake with my mom. This is just like our place on the lake.
