Good day, friends!

Some of you may wonder where I have been for the last week.   The short answer is… on the couch.   The long answer is much more complicated.   The sad part is, I have NOT been in my studio.

I woke up feeling a tad better this morning, so I decided since I NEED a birthday card today, I would give it a whirl.   It’s really strange.   I have mojo.   I have desire.   I just struggled to get my ideas on paper.   Frustration and stamping do not mix well.Today is my aunt Marci’s 63rd birthday.   We are having a little dinner gathering this evening to celebrate.

Just yesterday, I received these Lilac Avenue papers (kaisercraft)  from Stamp Simply.   These colors are SO Marci.

I assure you that the ribbon on this card IS purple.  For some reason, my camera wants to make it blue!

As unbelievable as it sounds, I do NOT own regular circle nesties.   I am going to have to fix that soon!   I have the SU circle cutter, but with the JustRite stamps,  it’s difficult to stamp first, then cut and even harder to cut first then stamp!
