~ My Heart ~

Good Morning, friends 🙂

I feel the need to apologize to you.    I had promised more ”packaging 101″ on Friday, but unfortunately the splitcoaststampers blogs were down.   I promise to get a post written in the next couple of days and scheduled for this coming Friday.    Lots to share!

I have been super busy in the studio lately.   Projects, projects everywhere!   I am sorry to say I can’t share them with you just yet, but stay tuned!

I woke up at 4am this morning.   My eyes popped open and there was no going back to sleep.   I decided to stamp.   Seriously, I think it’s a disease with me! LOL   But, I couldn’t help myself.. you see, one of my favorite people is the Featured Stamper today on Splitcoaststampers ~ jdmommy (anne)!

Anne and I have this thing in common.    We both LOVE red.   So I chose one of her cards that didn’t have red on it and made it red!

The base was cut slightly larger than needed, then I punched the edge with the eyelet border punch.   I then measured it to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2.   The layer on top is slightly shorter and the bottom edge was punched with the eyelet border punch again only off centered so that it layered the way it did.   The toile blossom was stamped twice and one was cut out and popped up.

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  SU’s Toile Blossom

Colors: PTI white, Kiwi Kiss, Bella Rose dp

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, copics, white gel pen

Accessories: satin ribbon, bow easy, eyelet border punch, 1/2 pearls, dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by!   Drop by again tomorrow as I am going to share a very fun technique!

Wow!! Beautiful card! I love all the details. I just might have to case this card myself.

This is gorgeous, Holly!! Love the double lace border at the bottom – going to have to case that!! — and your flower is stunning and perfectly accented with the half pearls. Great card!!
